Julie Broadbent, CCIM, CPA

Julie Broadbent is a business broker and a licensed commercial real estate broker. Her 30 plus years of banking, real estate and international public accounting experience make her well qualified to bring existing businesses to market or to help an owner find acquisition targets. She also works with executives who have decided to leave the corporate life and want to purchase a business or franchise. Julie is an active member of the International Business Brokers Association, the National Association of Realtors, and the International Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIM) Institute.  She is also a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) in the state of California, with her license held in an inactive status.   She is co-owner of a marketing company that works with small business owners to promote their businesses.  Prior to her real estate and business broker career, Julie worked with small business owners to manage tax efficiencies, grow revenues and control costs.  Before establishing her own consulting and brokerage practice, Julie served as a Vice President for a major bank and as a Senior Vice President for a Fortune 500 company, managing operations and finance divisions.  She began her career at KPMG in Los Angeles serving a variety of industries including banking, insurance, real estate, entertainment, health care and government entities.  Julie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Valparaiso University, Indiana.  One of her highlights of college was to be part of the foreign exchange student program, experiencing a semester in Cambridge, England.
