The process begins with you, by submitting a blind profile.
One of our consultants then contacts you and executes your Non Disclosure Agreement in order to gain an understanding of your objectives and likely time frame to exit without breaching any confidentialities.
We then introduce you to one of our Certified Exit Planners and arrange a personal visit to your place of business, meeting with your advisory team to plan the ideal exit strategy for you and your family.
After the exit plan has been agreed upon and developed, we will introduce you and your team to one of our Transaction Specialists to design the structure which delivers the desired outcome as determined by your team and our Certified Exit Planner.
At this point, your company is ‘packaged’ and an html, (investor / buyer formatted) presentation is prepared, incorporating all of the specifics outlined and agreed upon.
Your firm is then electronically profiled as are all investor / buyers in our program, and when an automated match of financial and NAICS industry criteria is made, an experienced buy side advisor shows your opportunity to the investor / buyer, incorporating exactly what it will take to conclude the transaction. In matching your opportunity with an investor / buyer, we utilize a unique membership structure designed to bring the most likely match to the forefront. This shortens the cycle to close in addition to other benefits. If a deal is not concluded, we move to the next matched firm in line.
We have over 8,000 institutional investor / buyers in our database who are interested in companies that have annual revenues between $1.0 to $500.0 million. Our investor / buyers are interested in companies that manufacture, distribute or are in the service sector, as well as internet related, software, communications and homeland security companies.
These institutions look for cash flow positive as well as cash flow negative situations. Some will look at turnaround situations if annual revenues are $20.0 million or more. They will not, however, consider start ups.
